Using you to suggest I realized that a lot of you are asking themselves how to start a career in digital marketing in 2000, then 20, whenever you started creating digital marketing, whether it is your first job or you are just switching careers, or maybe you are looking to develop new digital capabilities in these digital world we are living in where marketing always has to be completed with digital. Here are some tips to get you started then to help you learn fast. Learn quickly. First of all, what I would do if I were in your shoes. I would try to read everything out there about various fields. As CEO, Google ads, Facebook ads, email marketing and so on. We have two videos which I am sure will be useful for you. In one of them, we recommend twelve digital marketing books that are a must read for beginners in India. The one we recommend then digital marketing resources, which you definitely must follow. Please don’t forget to subscribe to this channel now in case you haven’t already. Because we will give you all the time. New digital marketing resources which will be very useful to you. Secondly, what they would do is attend as many digital marketing conferences, meet ups, trainings, workshops as they can in order to get myself out there into connect with specialists, to listen to different points of view. It’s very important to realize that in digital marketing, as in marketing in general, there is no one size fits all strategy or tactic that works. It depends a lot on the category you’re applying the digital marketing tactics to. It depends a lot on the competition and so on. So it’s important to listen to different case studies, to see different things that have come up and so on. On the third place, you know, of course, that in digital marketing, as in many other fields, it’s very important to get your hands on and to actually get to practice what others preach. It’s very important to see for yourself how different things work. And for this, I think that the most useful thing would be to start a WordPress blog, for example, or to start the WordPress shop with commerce and to actually try to sell something or to try to publish content online. You can, for example, open your own digital marketing blog or you can start blogging about something you’re very familiar with. Why would this help you? It will help you because, first of all, you will you again, for example, start the social media profiles of this blog or shop or so on, and you could start to practice a CEO. You could try to rank as high as you can for your blog for certain topics. You could see how people interact with your blog or bee’s knees. You could try to get your blog out there on social media profiles and see how you how difficult actually it is to get some engagement and to see what people react to and so on. And you can practice everything that you learn in theory and see how it actually goes and how it produces results. The fourth thing that I would definitely do is to get an internship, even if you have a day job. You could, for example, get a side project internship. It would be best to go for a digital marketing agency or it would be even better to try both sides of the story to go for an internship in a digital marketing agency and see different types of clients. And Dean does threes and goals and marketing landscapes and then go for an internship for a client that does digital marketing to see how the things look like on the client’s site. Exactly how you should connect everything with the general goals of the company with different tactical projects and so on. The fifth thing that I would definitely do is to reach out to experts that I admire in the digital marketing field. It’s best even to go for specialists on each discipline that you want to develop. Like, for example, an email marketing expert, a person that has a lot of experience to UNESCO and so on. Why would they connect with them? Because first of all, you should know that they are always looking for smart people.
