  1. Responsible for the strategic development, vision, tactical planning & operational execution & effectiveness of Virgin Media online sales & brand activity & communications for “Quad play” offerings of mobile, television, broadband & telephone.
  2. Managed & delivered the eCommerce online plan to agreed objectives – including unique visitor traffic driven to the ecommerce elements of virginmedia.com & virginmobile.co.uk; conversion rates resulting from this traffic; ARPU, SAC, churn, revenue, contribution of connections acquired.
  3. Management of PPC, affiliates, direct partners & other content / OEM partnerships (e.g. Uswitch, moneysupermarket.com) to drive online acquisition & customer demand via unique visitors to relevant ecommerce areas of virginmedia.com & virginmobile.co.uk & generation of web generated telesales calls.
  4. Full responsibility for delivery of traffic & agreed cost per sale targets including media mix, budgeting & planning, & for the tracking & performance evaluation of online marketing activity.
  5. Assessed performance & ensured ongoing online marketing activity fully optimised in conjunction with relevant colleagues & stakeholders.
  6. Develop, maintain & adhere to online channel financial budget.
  7. Management & motivation of web agencies.
  8. Lead the development & implementation of online channel acquisition strategy,& promotional roadmap.
  9. Supported development of the channel value proposition & through channel manager, represent channel requirements to the rest of the business & ensure effective category mix.
  10. In conjunction with online team & portal team fully optimized portal activity to drive ecommerce sales, cross- & up-sell effectiveness.
  11. Maintained brand & communication standards, maximise the brand’s sales potential in channel.
  12. Built & maintain positive channel profile & relationships.
  13. Identified, delivered & owned online marketing productivity improvements & opportunities for growth including bus dev opportunities from online partners such as Google, Microsoft.
